About the Cell
The Continuing Education Cell runs job-focused skill courses on our campus, alongside the college's regular diploma programmes. It works as a sub centre of the Centre for Continuing Education Kerala (CCEK) under affiliation No. CE/P-128/2000, and has been a sub centre since 2001.
CCEK is an autonomous body set up by the Government of Kerala under the Higher Education Department to promote continuing education in engineering, arts and science, and polytechnic colleges. Its network includes 52 polytechnics. For our campus, the aim is skill training that improves career opportunities for unemployed youth in India and abroad.
Fees and instalments
Every programme starts with an admission payment of ₹10,000: ₹5,000 as registration and ₹5,000 to complete admission. You can only join the class once this is paid and you have your fee card and receipt. The rest is paid in instalments.
| Programme | Course fee | Instalment plan at this college |
|---|---|---|
| PDFT | ₹30,000 | ₹5,000 at the start, then five monthly instalments of ₹5,000 |
| PDITLM | ₹38,000 | ₹5,000 at the start, six monthly instalments of ₹5,000, then ₹3,000 |
| PDMAE | ₹28,000 | ₹5,000 at the start, then ₹5,000, ₹9,000 and ₹9,000 in alternate months |

| PDSDM | ₹20,000 | Ask the CE Cell |
| PGDSDM | ₹20,000 | Ask the CE Cell |
The optional NSDC assessment has its own charges. CCEK's table for 2026-27 gives approximately ₹750 to ₹2,006 depending on the course and assessor, plus ₹250 certification charge. Ask the Cell what applies to your course.
Reservation and fee concession
Students admitted to reserved seats get a 50% concession on the course fee. In each course, seats are reserved as follows:
| Category | Share of seats |
|---|---|
| Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes | 10% |
| SEBC and OEC | 5% |
| Below Poverty Line (BPL) | 5% |
Reserved seats are allotted from a rank list based on your SSLC aggregate marks and documents. For classes starting in August or September, the last date to apply for the concession is 30 July. The list is published in the first week of August on the college notice board and the CCEK website. If you are not selected, you can still join in the general category.
Batches and refunds
- A batch runs only with at least 25 students.
- If a batch cannot start, you may be moved to another batch or a nearby sub centre. If that is not possible, the batch is cancelled and your fee is returned.
- If you leave for personal reasons after admission, the fee you have paid is not refunded.
- Classes can be offline or hybrid, set by CCEK, the college and the training partner.
- Keep your fee card and receipts until the programme ends. A lost fee card can be replaced for ₹50.
Certificates
All six programmes are linked to the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). Depending on the course and the route you choose, you can earn certificates from CCEK and through NSDC assessment. Look into the certificate options before you enrol, because you cannot change your choice afterwards.
Employers can check a CCEK certificate through its online verification service.
