Scholar Support Programme

This programme conceived to aid the weaker students of the institution is named Scholar Support Programme. Under the project various Training Programmes and Special Classes are proposed for the students who need special attention.

The Scheme when implemented would be a great boost to the academic performance of the institution. The project is all the more important because it would be a helping hand to the economically and socially backward classes of the society as most of the students in this institution come from rural areas.

Students who are backward in their academic activities are to be found out and they should be given special care and attention to achieve their goal .We have already made some efforts in helping the students who are backward in their studies. But we could not achieve the expected target. That is why it is essential to take some more pain and time for the same .

   Planning for the period 2018-2022

  1. Identify the subject with high failure rate and list out weak students in the respective subjects
  2. Decide the subjects for which scholar support classes to be conducted
  3. Identify the teachers who are ready to conduct classes. Teachers can be selected from outside of the institution also
  4. Prepare the schedule of classes and inform it to the students concerned
  5. The list of students who are expected to attend the scholar support classes is to be kept with the faculty concerned and tutors/mentors also. If the students do not attend the classes they must be warned and further failure in attending the classes must be communicated to the parents.
  6. A student must get the feeling that he/she will be benefitted from scholar support classes.
  7. Each faculty has to prepare a course plan for scholar support classes considering the limited number of hours allotted for each subject.
  8. Students may be provided refreshments at the end of scholar support classes.
  9. We hope that successful implementation of scholar support program will considerably reduce the failure rate in each year and we can achieve 100% pass percentage in 2 – 3 years.
